first's weeks news....
hi welcome again to my blog after 2 or 1 month....too busy hehe....
so now here are the news i chose to write my opinions and all.....
1)the white tiger
The Singapore Zoo is keeping its white tiger exhibit closed for a few more days to monitor the tigers' stress levels.
my opinion:
i think its right to close the enclosure to check whether the tiger who have stress or the cleaner who provoked the tigers to do it.An article i saw also about this said that even before the incident the zookeepers noticed that the worker is acting strangely.H e was throwing things and when he was walking out of the zoo he was passing the message "goodbye, you wont see me again". I think he was trying to suicide or something because if not then why did he acted so strangely in front of the public?i think also after this incident the zoo will put more patrols around various exhibits for the visitors safety.
2)Singapore's first mass cycling event aims to attract 5,000 participants
First it was the Formula One. Now, another sport looks set to capitalise on Singapore's cityscape. On February 22 next year, Singapore's first mass cycling event on public roads aims to attract 5,000 participants.
my opinion:
It's great to oraganise an event like this because it helps SIngporet o be known more and to help the citizens to have a healthy lifestyle.it is also the first time that it will include amateur and elit cyclers.it helps the amateur cyclers to try the challenge of cycling 5 to 40 kilometres while for the serious cyclers can go on with 50 kilometre challenge!they are also planning to bring 50 professional cyclists from all over the world to compete in a special category with a prize of $100,000.

Good try.
1)Do you think it is right of the worker to commit suicide in this way? If you were a colleague of the worker and noticed that he was acting strangely, what would you have done and why? Do you think committing suicide helps? Why not?
2)Why do you think S'pore has been trying to organise such events recently? Another eg is the F1 race.

1)no,i dont think so.if im his or her collegue and saw him or her acting this way then i will tell it to my boss or manager so that they can call the hospital.but if not then i'll do it myself so that he or she can be treated.
2)i think its because they wanted singapore to be visible to the others.even though that singapore is a small country, singapore can held big events such as f1 race and the olympics which is coming in 2010.

1)suicide is a bad idea of ending our lives...even though we have a lot of problems, we can over through it no matter what happens...all our friends are always beside helping us when we are in need.
